What is known is that they, unlike other creatures of the mists, begin their life as a walking egg. Wandering Thera under the protection of their eggshell. Once hatched it is said these creatures resemble that of a half lion half bird like creature. No one has ever seen them wield a weapon, preferring their sharp talon like claws to shred their opponenet apart. These creatures have only been seen walking the path of the light.
