Long ago in the city of Elvenhame, an Elf was born. He took up practice in the paladin guild at a very young age, humbly learning from the guildmaster everything he could. In his younger years, he relied more heavily on his strength of body than his strength of mind, until he stumbled upon the shrine of Xyza. Here, he learned the importance of magic, and began to find a more equal balance in himself.
He became one of the first in Thera to bear the Lady's mark, and the fourth Archmage to be accepted into her house, Arcana. He became widely known as the Elven Lord of the Grey Havens. Earning much respect and recognition through the years, he became the first ArchWizard of Light. He served his House many years, and became widely known throughout the land, and soon the Pantheon took notice of him as well.
When offered a place in the heavens by Lord Styx, Cirdan humbly asked to be allowed one final deed before he left the mortal realm and his beloved house. In his final battle, Cirdan defeated Nycholas, regaining Arcana's precious Crystal of Power, which he placed safely away. He was then given powers beyond those of a mortal. In his finals words to those who walked his path, he spoke:
"If the world is night, shine my life like a light."
This simple phrase was well remembered by all the people of Thera, regardless of path. Cirdan's eternal light grew brighter and brighter as he ascended within the Pantheon itself, and he eventually became the Eternal Flame, shedding his divine light upon the citizens of Thera. Those that walk in the light of the Flame can still recall the legends of the Elven Lord of the Grey Havens.
Within the Pantheon, Cirdan assumed the position of Lord of Peace, and his followers have been sighted throughout the realm spreading his ways.
Cirdan believes in the virtues of peace, dedication, and unity.
