Adorno is the God of life and light. As a young man, he grew up in the forests of Thera and became a dedicated ranger. He spent his days tending to the plants and creatures that surrounded him. One day, his father took him aside and explained the logic surrounding the ebb and flow of life around him and how knowledge was one of the most important components of life. Years of pondering his fathers words led to the realization that true knowledge came from first being true to yourself and then keeping a truthful heart. Adorno then came to the conclusion that one cannot be true to themselves while at the same time killing another living thing. After meditating years on this revelation, Adorno came to the insight that once everyone has become true to themselves the problems of the world would vanish. However, this would mean that everyone would have to cease killing one another.

From that day forth, Lord Adorno began training in the arts of defense and lived with the belief that all living creatures deserve and need protection. Time passed, and as much as the Lord tried, he realized he could not protect everything all the time. As such, he painfully allowed himself, and those that followed him at the time, to kill only when the situation called for it. This caused his soul to shrivel, so when it became necessary for him to kill a creature, he would sacrifice part of his own life to honor the memory of that which had just died.

His sacrifices did not go unnoticed. After years of pious devotion to his beliefs, the heavens called upon him. One day, during his morning constitutional, he was walking on the outskirts of the grove that he tended when he was hit by a falling light and found himself granted with new, awesome powers. As the light took him up to the heavenly world, he decided this would be the chance to share his vision with the whole of Thera.
