Nature is strong and versatile. So too are the warriors that have nature as a teacher. Whether they were nurtured and raised by Nature and its beings, forced to survive through Nature's hardships or even trained on hunting upon Nature's bounty they have all found their ways through Nature. Rangers are what these warriors are known as. Given gifts and tools they emulate the strong aspects of Nature and use them to protect, to destroy, to hunt and to kill.

No matter what the purpose of a Ranger is, even if it is to destroy they emulate nature. The tools and weapons given to the Rangers emulate parts and actions of animals or are those used within swamps and forests for survival. Some rangers take parts of all that nature has to offer. They sample all the aspects of Nature's bounty and become well rounded because of this.

Some beings are lost in the woods and forced to survive through the harshness of Nature. Others come from people who choose to live in such conditions; using them for the strength they bestow upon them. Regardless of how one was brought into these conditions many come up with abilities and skills geared towards survival far beyond those of the common Ranger. They are better able to withstand the environment and even become able to brush off an amount of pain that would damage any other being. Being in these conditions also has a downside and causes them to be generally cruder than those more civilized beings.

Sometimes Nature leaves an affinity towards its creatures that runs deep in some. Regardless of how this came to be these Rangers have a sort of kinship with the animals of Nature. They are able to call forth a wide variety of animals to come forth and aid them. Not only can they find a wider variety of animals but they are so closely bound to the animals that a greater number will listen to and obey the Ranger. These Rangers become so engrossed with the animals that they sometimes find themselves closely emulating the animal’s behaviors and abilities.

There are still others who are drawn to Nature for other reasons. They come to Nature to learn the ways of the predators. They come to learn how to track, trap and ambush their prey. All that they do is to become better at the hunt. The more skilled Rangers even train hounds to track for them. They can become so akin to the hunt that they can push their bodies beyond typical limitations and go into a frenzy in order to take down their prey.
