Not long after the warrior guildmasters taught the art of parrying with two weapons to all of their students, a new idea had formed in the mind of a draconian warrior by the name of Kraleth. Dual parrying was useful, certainly, but what of the warrior that wished to be truly defensive? Kraleth felt as if the guild's teachings of techniques with the shield was sorely lacking, and began developing his own techniques to compensate. What he ended up creating was a phenomenal new way of doing battle.

Using a shield and a weapon of choice, a defender protects both himself and his allies. No other warrior can take as many hits without going down as a defender. No other warrior has the complete and total mastery of his shield as a defender. No other warrior, in a word, defends as well as a defender.
